Introduction

  • Inflammatory arthritis is a chronic disease
Arthritis and is a ‘Vata’ disease that affects the joints.
  • Degeneration, weakening and pain.
  • In Ayurveda, bones are considered a ‘Vata’ type element.

Causes of disease

  • The factors are internal and external and the disease develops more in windy climates.
  • It is due to weak ‘Agni’ and poor digestion which cause the accumulation of ‘Mass’ which goes into the organs, joints, bones, cells…
  • Poor functioning of the colon allows toxins to be transported to the joints and joints
    Immune system imbalance

Treatment

  1. In Ayurveda, bones reflect the health of the colon and it is therefore this that will need to be treated.

If constipation: take 2 to 5 grams of Triphala before sleep.

  1. Intestinal enemas based on a decoction of Dashamula
  2. After intestinal cleansing, tone the colon by infiltrating 1 cup of lukewarm water mixed with 1 or 2 tablespoons  of lukewarm sesame oil  ou Narayan ou Mahanarayan.
  3. Keep in the colon for 20 minutes. The oil (of very good quality absorbed by the colon and sent to the bones and joints will be a good massage and very beneficial to them).
  4. Repeat actions 2 and 3 twice a week at the beginning then reduce to once a week when improvements appear.
  5. Application of castor oil to painful joints (every night).
  6. Sauna, hammam highly recommended
  7. Application of camphor or menthol gel during painful periods.
  8. Imperative to burn toxins and revive Agni → intermittent or one-day fasting to start. Perhaps water fasting (cayenne decoction, cinnamon, powdered ginger) for one day a week…
  9. No snacking but only regular meals
  10. No industrial food
  11. Other recommended herbs (capsules or decoctions): Gugul (Ayurvedic herb) or European herbs: Angelica, ginger, cinnamon, licorice in decoction or powder and in equal parts.
  12. Bath with Epsom salt.
  13. Do not use cold water for washing or drinking.
  14. Meditation and yoga
  15. No stress
  16. Give yourself massages with warm oil (organic cold-pressed sesame or oils made from Ayurvedic herbs)
