Yoga Psychology counseling
Introduction
Only when we have healed ourselves, we are able to heal others with empathy and compassion. Therapy based on yoga psychology takes you through a ‘scrubbing machine’ to clean out all the blockages that prevent your inner diamond from shining brightly. This is also the practical part of transcending homeostasis where, having worked on ourselves, we are in a better position to move beyond personal comforts/aspirations and contribute to the healing of others.

What is Yoga Psychology Counseling ?
Holistic psychology is a field of study that explores the mental, emotional, and psychological aspects of yoga. It is an integrative approach that combines the principles and practices of traditional yoga and Chakras with concepts and techniques from modern psychology to promote mental and emotional health, as well as personal development.
The key elements of yoga psychology and the aspects we will work on:
The Chakras: We will identify your predominant Chakra as well as the imbalances of your Chakras (see emotions and their related chakras here).
Self-awareness: That is, careful observation of one’s thoughts, emotions, bodily sensations and mental states. By developing this awareness, one can better understand behavioral patterns and automatic thoughts that can affect mental well-being.
Stress management: We will include breathing techniques, simple and brief meditation and relaxation techniques in your daily life which can help reduce stress. These practices help calm the nervous system, balance stress hormones and promote a state of relaxation.
Developing Mindfulness: Mindfulness is an important component of yoga psychology. It consists of being fully present in the present moment without judgment. Mindfulness will help you cultivate acceptance, manage difficult emotions, and improve focus.
Emotional Balance: We will work on balancing emotions and inner energies. By learning to recognize and express your emotions and how to communicate them in a healthy way, you can improve your emotional stability and avoid overreacting.
Personal growth: We will emphasize personal development and the search for fulfillment. It encourages introspection, self-exploration and moving towards a more authentic state of being.
Integration of body and mind: Yoga views the body and mind as closely linked. The practice of yoga (physical and mental) aims to harmonize these two aspects of the human being to promote better overall health.

Of course, I will listen to you in all discretion, with compassion and without judgment

What are the results you can expect for ?
Following our sessions, you will become aware of elements on which we will work together in order to treat the problems from the root and lead you to liberation, to find inner peace, happiness, confidence, self-love and lead you to self-realization.
It is important to note that yoga psychology is not a substitute for conventional medical treatment for serious mental health problems. However, it can be used as a supplement to support emotional and mental well-being. Practitioners of yoga psychology may be yoga teachers, therapists specializing in yoga therapy, or psychologists integrating yoga principles into their clinical practice. I am myself a yoga teacher specializing in Yoga therapy. I was trained in Yoga psychology in Mumbai, India.
